As a theatre professional, I have worked as a Musical Director/Conductor at many regional theatres across the country.  I am passionate about Musical Theatre, Education, and Collaboration.

My work as a Musical Director and Conductor is unique in that I approach the music for any production as merely a means in which to tell the story.  Collaborating with Directors and Choreographers is one of my favorite parts of the production process, and I take great joy in telling stories through music.

Possessing an undergraduate degree in Voice and Masters and Doctorate Degrees in Conducting, I find that I am able to live comfortably in both the vocal and instrumental worlds.  I was fortunate in my undergraduate degree to have a voice teacher willing to simply teach me in order that I may one day teach others.  I believe this background in voice has allowed me to be most successful when working with actors, while my advanced degrees in conducting have allowed me to be equally successful when working with instrumentalists.

I will be moving an hour outside of NYC this fall to join the faculty at Western Connecticut State University as an Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre.  Previous institutions have included The University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa), and the University of North Carolina - Greensboro.  Even with a busy schedule in academia, I still seek out professional opportunities.
